Vår første øl, og fortsatt en klassiker! Fruktig og humlefrisk pale ale med en behagelig sødme og bitterhet.

Flaske 0,33l spandert av Rune og delt under samling hos ham 6 Feb 14. Gylden. Høyt luftig skum med litt lacing. Veldig god fruktig aroma. Mango & sitrus. Hint av krydder. Smaken er grapefrukt & mandarin. Syrlig. Tørr & god fruktig avslutning. Veldig moreish. Lovende start fra et nytt bryggeri!

A 330ml bottle, as Mosaic Pale Ale, airborne from Bodø to Tromsø, many thanks to Eirik and Kjell. Shared with Finn. Poured a clear (dark) golden coloured body. Hazy last pour. Rocky white head that stayed well and left patchy lacing down the glassware. Inviting hop laden aroma with assorted tropical fruits, half-dry. Super fresh fruity taste of mandarin, peach and mango followed by mild bitter grapefruit shells towards the ending. Moderate malty sweetness beneath. Medium bodied and fine carbonated. Smooth on the swallow. A well-made, moreish beer (Tromsø 06.02.2014).

Bottle at Piccadilly, Bod. Pours an orange colour and is quite unclear. Not much foam on this, but forming a small off-white colored head The first thing that strikes me is a solid malt base in the aroma before the fruity hops comes dancing with notes of apricot, citrus peel and some bread. An absolutely lovely and rich aroma. Can flavor follow up? The flavour is surprisingly rich with more fruity hops, grass, peach and some berries. The carbonation is below the average and gives the beer a silky and rich mouth feel. The bitterness is balanced and lasting, and is on a light to medium level. The beer is both fruity and full bodied with a good balance. A definitely solid debut that is going to be extra nice in the summertime.
