Vår første øl, og fortsatt en klassiker! Fruktig og humlefrisk pale ale med en behagelig sødme og bitterhet.

Can at Valhalla Prague. Murky golden body, white head. Lightly leathery fruity, aroma, vaguely citric, some berries. Similar taste, leathery, minerally, citric, mildly berry-like taste. Okay, not much more honestly, I usually expect better from them.

Bottle, gift from Finand Rune. I may have kept this a bit too long, so no time like the present. Golden amber, hazy with a film of whitish head. Resinous aroma, some papaya and tomatillo, some orange peel, sweet spice, a touch of ammonia. Bittersweet taste, almost with a sour edge, and an acrid finish with citrus juice notes. Flat body. Passable, not great but certainly not as bad as some rates suggest.

330 ml bottle, Lot #278, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%, IBU 67. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Surprisingly moderate aroma of hops and dust. The flavour has also notes of \"dusty\" hops, one-dimensional, without the complexity I expect from Mosaic hops. Medium bitter finish. Won't buy again.

Flaske 33cl kjøpt på Vinmonopolet Mo i Rana, smak på Storsand Camp i Trøndelag. Aroma sitrus, aprikos, eple. Utseende klar mørk gylden med eggeskallfarget skum. Smak sitrus, grapefrukt, karamell, humle, malt. En godt humlet pale ale med fint avstemt bitterhet og smak. God fruktighet i starten og bitterhet som varer lenge. Godt øl ---
