A smooth, full-bodied stout fit for the season reaturing chocolate malt, oats and creamy vanilla for a luscious, velvety mouthfeel. Additions of brown sugar creates delicate sweetness while subtle coffee notes meld with cosy, warming spices of cinnamon and ginger.

Can from Tesco; opaque black pour with a bubbly tan head, aroma has robust malts and ginger action, taste has rich malts, coffee and chocolate, with a spattering of ginger biscuit, nice viscous mouthfeel, pretty good for a supermarket beer

33 cl can @ home, BBE 31.08.2029
Aroma has cinnamon, licorice and alcohol. Flavour has cinnamon, licorice. Finishes with soy sauce and some coffee notes. Surprisingly thin for this ABV. Also the spiciness is a bit too high and coffee aromas are too mild.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 01/12/24. Pitch black with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, chocolate melt, caffe late vibes, gingersnap biscuit. Taste comprises chocolate, sweet malts, brown sugar melt, molasses, mellow ginger bite, vanilla, hint of coffee, light winter cheer and spice. Full bodied, light oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Fun impy if a touch overly sweet.

Can. Opaque black brown beer, small darkish tan head. Smooth palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Pretty light for the abv. Vault have done a good job here. A really nice chocolate cakes vibe with a mellow fruity ginger cake. Everything hangs together very well and it's surprisingly crushable.

330ml can from Tesco. Poured almost black in colour with a short-lived, thin, broken tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, light ginger, herbal. The flavour is over moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, spicy ginger, chocolate, light warm boozy alcohol, light sweet vanilla, liquorice bitter palate and an oily mouthfeel. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Surprising to see a beer of this quality on a supermarket shelf.
