Can. Waitrose. Slick and rich coffee and ginger biscuit. Hits the mark on all levels. Bonkers sweet but then it’s going to be. Impressive drinkability.

Ginger, chocolate, cookie. Amazing to find that at our local Waitrose.

330ml can bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Black and opaque with a quickly dissipating tan head. Booze, ginger, black grape, fuel, creamy coffee in the aroma. Taste is extremely sweet, too sweet but still enjoyable. Clear notes of gingerbread, some coffee, treacle. Very thick body, soft to medium carbonation.

Aroma is quite artificial with cake frosting and cinnamon, dark coconut-chocolateish notes. not much roasted malts 6/10
flavor is a bit better, chocolate, cake frosting, coca-cola, vanilla, fainter roasted malts. Very cristmassy and pastry-ish, could do as a thinnish dessert-stout. 7/10
pal 3/5 ov 14/20

Can from Tesco and drunk at home. Black beer lasting tan head. Aroma of coffee and dark chocolate aroma. Yes some gingerbread flavour. I mean it's pretty good. Thick gloopy. A properly good impy stout. Yes some coffee. It's decent. Like drinking a cild espresso with a ginger biscuit. Good

Can from Tesco; opaque black pour with a bubbly tan head, aroma has robust malts and ginger action, taste has rich malts, coffee and chocolate, with a spattering of ginger biscuit, nice viscous mouthfeel, pretty good for a supermarket beer

33 cl can @ home, BBE 31.08.2029

Aroma has cinnamon, licorice and alcohol. Flavour has cinnamon, licorice. Finishes with soy sauce and some coffee notes. Surprisingly thin for this ABV. Also the spiciness is a bit too high and coffee aromas are too mild.
