[2/3/16] Draught at Beer Revolution in Oakland. Clear golden. Aroma of fruity resinous hops and alcohol. Flavor has sweet malt, alcohol, and bitter resinous hops. Medium-bodied. Harsh.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Big caramel and earthy flavor with grapefruit and pine. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Big caramel and light grapefruit lingers with light pine.

Sample at the DIPA-festival in Hayward. A bit hazy golden/amber with a medium white head. Hoppy with citrus, grass, resin and light malt. Not that bitter. A good one.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent amber with a creamy whiteish head. Aroma of caramel and mixed hop. Med body. Flavor starts rather earthy, develops light stone fruits, then maybe a little citrus. Or maybe resin. But earth/fruit seems to cover it. Very nice. Lots of hop; very mild burn.
