This Ale is full, mighty, and sharp. The citrusy hop aroma and flavors are prominent, yet they come balanced well with a light coating of clean maltiness. This Ale finishes smooth with a nice dry bitterness.

Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a nice deep crystal clear gold body that has thin copper hues and supporting a tall light tan head. The mild aroma offers up some citrus notes, a dash of an earthy lime sort of thing going on as well as some malts that have a faint doughiness sense to them. The taste is an even mix of sweet maltiness and sort of citrus tangerine and slightly lime hoppiness. The hops create a balanced sense of bitterness and hop flavor but the sweet malts seem to have a thin edge of caramel that doesn’t really go well with the rest of the experience.

Tap at Davis Beer Week B&B Fest. Pours clear copper with a creamy/foamy yellowish head. Very hoppy. Bitingly so. Nice malt backdrop. Mild hop burn. Finishes excellent.
