31/12/2019. Bottle courtesy of Thomas. Pours black with a small bubbly tan coloured head. Aroma of dark chocolate, brett yeast, roasted malt, wood. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.

[ As Den Bryggande Holländaren Imperial Empirical Brettanomyces Oak Barrel Aged ].Unclear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, brett, leather, wood, funky. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light light acidic and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, wood, tobacco, roasted, sweet malt, leather, funky. Bottled, from Systembolaget. Dark brown, mid sized coarse head. Funky nose with oaky red wine and some chocolate. Dry with medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Leather and chocolate, hay and funk. Lots of red wine, notes of butter. Mid bitter finish. Tasty.
