Draught from alewife. Burgundy pour white head. Murky. Slightly fruity smell. Dark raspberry and plum flavors. Malty finish. Decent

Sample at Belmont Station. Pours a dark brownish-amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, vanilla and hops. Medium to full body with flavors of dark malt, toffee, oaky vanilla and hops. The finish is sweet with a roasted malt aftertaste. Above average overall.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours very dark amber with a creamy white head. Aroma seems berry. Flavor is brown sugar, berry, treacle, a little hop. It’s very delicious, not showing heat, finishing just a bit sweet. Excellent.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy hoppy aroma. Sweetish malty spicy flavor with hoppy bitter hints. Has a sweetish malty spicy hoppy finish.

Draft at Churchkey for CBC. Poured a relatively clear dark copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some dark fruits, notes of cherry perhaps, with some roasted malts and a touch of sweet raisins. Flavor had plenty of those dried fruits - raisins, prunes. Some touch of toasted nut. A touch boozy, but good.
