Bottle Clear light redish amber witha small light tan head that stuck around. Heavy lacing. Sharp bitter woody rye aroma and flavor. Dry finish. Some weird metallic notes as well. Didnt love it

Pour is a amber with a small white head. Aroma is of a slightly spicy rye and not much else. Flavor is again an ok spicy rye with a little more of the hops showing up. Not enough umph in this one. An ok beer but not at good as others that I’ve recenlty had.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Hiromi. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A fruity and grainy nose. The flavor is big rye, meaty at times, fresh piny hops, some lingering sweetness. A bit odd altogether but nice overall.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear deep copper with a foamy beige head. Deep inhale reveals spicy chocolate. Med body. Foamy carb. Flavor comes first as chocolate, then with rye spice, then something like the leftover flavor of sucking baking chocolate. Finishes pretty bitter - in a sort of chocolate way. We’re not talking Hersheys here, just that bitterness associated with chocolate. Very good ale. But it would be much nicer were it imperialized. Hint. Hint.

12oz bottle. Pretty unimpressive offering from Bridgeport. FIltered orange-tan body. Steady thin off-white head. Odd aroma, some orange, garbage-butter, and gingerbread rye. There is a certain unpleasant, cheap caramel buttery flavor going on throughout, maybe it’s just the Rye. Not really much depth, and just an all around undesirable flavor.
