Together with Van De Streek we brewed a Czech Black Lager for their Advent Calendar. We used a blend of malts (Pilsner, Vienna, CaraMunich, Aroma, Chocolate & Black Wheat). We used some Czech Kazbek for bittering and a healthy dose of American Noble hops for aroma. Fermented with JY 330 - Dutch Lager yeast for a smooth mouthfeel and round flavour.

Can at home. Dark mahogany with big tan head. Dry cocoa, roasted malts, soft unripe fruit, citrus zest, earthy chalk, woody. Light sweet and bitter. Solid medium bodied with dry finish.
