Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Note: tap guy opined that he didn’t like earlier version all that much, but this was an improvement. Pours dirty dishwater amber with a 3 finger creamy white head. Lightly sour aroma - perhaps with a bit of citrus. Almost med body. Flavor starts sour hefe - picks up a bit more citrus. Hefe aspect disappears. Not super sour - but surely fits the style. Finish retains some sour. Quite quaffable.

On tap. Hazy very pale yellow body with a white head. Aroma of lemon, vanilla, wheat, yeast esters and grass. Taste is mildly lactic, tart, dry, wheat. A Berliner with either a late added lacto or lactic acid accompanied by an obvious but tame hefe strain. This is a tame Berliner, but I feel with in the style. Dry, refreshing with medium bubbles. A bit of leather.
