Golden color, white head with short retention and some lacing. Aroma has hoppy notes with some peachy hints. Flavor is moderate bittery, notes of peach, light orange. Soma maltiness, light bitterness in the final.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of citrus and resin. Taste is bitter green plant stalks, sticky resin. Light astringent finish.

Draught @ Craft Beer Co - Brighton, 22-23 Upper North Street, Brighton, East Sussex, England BN1 3FG. [ As Alphabet Charlie Don't Surf ].Unclear matt medium yellow - amber orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, caramel, pale malt, light moderate yeasty - hoppy, perfume, sour notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, perfume, pale malt, sweet malt, sour notes. IMO: a bit odd ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160802] 7-2-7-3-14

Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - bright golden amber. Nice neat fluffy head. Nose - resin and orange. Taste - more orange, slightly candied. Resin again, going into plant stalk. Something metallic. Palate - light bodied and tangy. Sweet but slightly astringent on the finish, somehow. Overall - ok.

Keg at ushers. Pours golden orange, nose is floral, toffee, cereal, taste is similar, sweet.

On tap at the brewery. Pours. Clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw a with grass and hay supporting. Flavor has lots of earthy grains with straw zinc hay supporting.

Keg at the Botanist, Alderley Edge at 4%. Pours dark gold with a small head. Aroma is grassy, slightly burnt. Taste is grassy and bitter throughout with s touch of papaya on the finish.
