Kalaherkut Nygrenin kanssa yhdessä pantu ”kalan kaveri”, eli erityisesti seafoodin kanssa pariutuva vaalea lager, joka on maustettu raparperilla.

Rapsakka lagerpohja ja raparperin luontainen happamuus ovat omiaan rehelliseen vetämiseen tai paremmankin kalalautasen vierelle.

Testaa Nygreniä myös ruoan laitossa: Kokeile esimerkiksi korvata merellisen risoton viini raparperilagerilla, ei muuten leiki.

Nygren livahtaa kurkusta alas kuin kalavale kaverin korvaan.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Lightly hazy pale golden, small head. Piney apricot aroma. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Piney apricot, rhubarb and overripe apples, some syrup. Low bitterness.

Can (from Himo Shop). Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized white foamy white head which leaves some lace. Aroma is floral, fruity, some mild herbal and mild tones. Flavour is floral, fruity tones and mild wooden tones with mild earthy elements too. Mild rhubarby tartness to it.

0,4l on tap @ Taproom d20. Pours clear yellow with a medium head. Aroma is malts with rhubarb. Flavor is malts, rhubarb, hops. Decent.

Can 440ml (KCM Pirkkala)
Clear golden colour, small white head. Acidity of rhubarb in the nose. Light-bodied. Crisp, pils malts, some rhubarb acidity but also sweetness. Tolerable.

Can at home, Espoo. Enjoyed straight from the can. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, rhubarb, grain... just as weak as expected.
