Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe in Davis, CA. Pours dark brown/black with a creamy tan head. Aromas of chocolate, "spice" and dark fruit? Near full bodied. Flavor is hoppy chocolate with some strange flavor aspects. A little dark fruit? A touch of something like coffee? It is pretty hoppy. Finishes dry and bitter. Really nice drink.
