From a 12 oz can. Pours black with a massive tan head. Aromas of licorice, oak, dark pit fruit and chocolate. Flavors are bitter dark chocolate and bourbon.

Can from weihenweizen, thanks: pours black with beige head. Aroma is mild vanilla and bourbon... some general woodines and chocolate. Taste is pretty mellow for an IS. Slightly boozy, barrel in the taste. Slightly sweet chocolate.

Refrigerated 12 oz. can poured into a snifter. Black with big light brown head. Aroma is chocolate, medium body, velvety texture, well carbonated, and pretty good lacing. Taste is cocoa, roasted malt, some bourbon, and dry finish.
