Light brown pour, with a medium off white head. Big roast, pine resins, light fruity esters. Thin mouth feel, light carb. Medium bitterness, bitter cocoa finish, with more big roast, and coffee.

Aromas are dark malt, toast with hints of vanilla and molasses. Flavors are bittersweet with medium body and crisp carbonation. Leans more towards stout than towards brown ale. Decent but not great.

Can from vintage estates. Smell is a somewhat volatile stronger malt. Initially, there is just a little carbonation, not quite flat. Pours big and black with a fading choco moose head. Taste comes across stronger than the near 6% listed here. Old partially burn charred damp campfire wood flavor. Not bad, should have chilled it a little more.
