Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a caramel-brown color with a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet and toasty with pine, honey and lemon notes. The flavor was bitter yet fairly sweet with toffee, pine and tobacco elements. Long tobacco and pine finish. Moderately full bodied. Alcohol fairly well contained. Solid.

Sample at the Columbus taproom during the "Beverage Source Tap Takeover" on 02/24/2017. Pours a clear amber-orange color with a medium bone white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Citrus, piney hops and malt in the nose. Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and grainy malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
