When i saw the green can i thought IPA, you know like some other IPAs that have jal in their name; but no, its lime. From can has a definite pepper ring in the nose, like spicy pepper coffee er sumthin. Taste is friendly jala with a fairly mild afterburn. Yes, there is some lime in there but the jalapepper thang is almost getting in yer face. You gotta sip this one to get the full effects. In the end the warming sensation builds down the throat and into the gullet. Then, suddenly when I think its all over, I get a little lime in the finish. Not bad for a beer with a heater.

Sample at the tap room. Clear golden color with a medium ivory white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of citrus, malt and peppers. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, lime, malt and jalapeno. The finish is fruity and spicy with a lingering peppery aftertaste. Decent overall.
