From notes. On tap at bitter creek boise. pours out a amber color topped with a white head. Nose is light toffee caramel malts some pine and citrus hops along with a spice. Taste is more of the nice malty sweetness and a nice little hop combo.

Bottle. Amber beer with a big cream head. Floral and light citrus aroma with light dark malts. Pine and grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Pine and grapefruit linger with caramel and light dark malt.

Bomber from Taylor’s Market in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy copper with a creamy/bubbly off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt. Not getting hop. Flavor starts with roast caramel, then some piney earthy hop comes along. Disappointing, given their earlier efforts. The aroma and the flavor are just a tad papery, over toasted. Finishes with an irritating sweet aspect. I know there’s hop in here, but it just doesn’t work for me. Having just had a super IPA, this one may be suffering by comparison. So sad. Too bad.

On Tap at Brewforia Beer market, Meridian, ID. Cloudy deep copper color witha full off-white head. Big piney hop aroma and a soapy, piney very sharp hop flavor. More bitterness than flavor. Strongly bitter, which is OK but in a harsh soapy way. Moderate malt body, and a stinging bitter bite at the end. Just OK

Bottle. Pours with a murky amber orange body with a large bone colored head. Aromas of hops (citrus, floral, and pine), caramel, marmalade, bread and tea. Very malty smelling for a fresh bottle. Flavor is bitter, slightly salty, pine, and nothingness. No real malt backbone, and no hops whatsoever. Lively bubbles and dry. Tea flavors. Nothingness. Really strange for a fresh bottle. Confused beer.
