Reviewed from notes just found after an excursion driving through West Viriginia last summer.
At the brewpub, this was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice light golden yellow color with a thin white foamy little head (bar pour). There wasn’t any lacing.
The smell was your basic cream ale styled brew - light corn/rice adjuncts but nothing off-putting - basic cream ale sweetness.
The taste was sweet and ended up leading to a sweet corn aftertaste and a watery finish (but its a cream ale, so no worries).
On the palate, it sat exceptionally light and showed a great deal of sessionability to it with a smooth carbonation running about my mouth and tongue.
Overall, not a bad cream ale, but its a style that isn’t exactly easy to make complex and show a great deal of character. Worth trying again - perhaps. If you’re at the brewpub, I say why not.

Half pint draft at the brewpub. Pours clear golden with small white head. Light/medium body, low carbonation, very little lacing, and light malt aroma. Taste is light creamy malt. Not one of their better brews.
