Pours amber brown with a small white head. Toasty malt aroma. The flavor is of caramel malt and hoppy bitterness, perhaps more hops than is typical for the style as they linger in the finish. Works alright for me.

On tap at Pies and Pints. Clear llight amber with small off-white head. Light lacing, low carbonation, medium body, and roasty aroma. Taste is roasty malt and a light crisp hop finish. Slightly better than Staghorn, but not as good as Ayinger.
