Tap at SF. Served in a snifter. Deep brown body, respectable beige head. Smooth chocolate aroma. Pretty solid example of the style, one of the better beers I’ve had from SF. Bready brown chocolate notes. A pinch of alcohol warmth, mellow lager tones. Really solid offering, not too thick, sticky, or heavy for the style. Surprisingly nails it.
