Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Tap release at Titletown. Amber-brown, ruby, filtered. Fresh, but not really perfection in the Lager realm. Soapy hop bite, smooth caramel malt body. Approaching Doppelbock, thick and malty, but not overbearing. Pretty solid, but has some bitterness that doesn’t contribute well. A challenging style, respectfully pulled off. Mellow red-drak fruit tones...raisin, prune undertones.
