Bright clear gold beer, good white head. Palate is light and has a decent minerally crispness. Clean malts, nice lager character, mild sweetness, trace of malt cream. A decent dose of bittering hop, some very light citric peel in there. Crisp clean finish. Mild bitter linger. Impressive. Clean, crisp and well balanced lager. Could session this, no probs!

330ml bottle. Crystal clear, yellow-ish golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Mellow, pale malty, minimally grainy and strawy aroma, rather plain hoppy overtones with a floral touch and very cautious hints of gooseberry. Taste is minimally sweet pale malty, grassy-herbal-spicy and floral hoppy overtones, a touch of sage and gooseberry; oily texture, smooth, silky palate. Very clean, nicely hopped, top of the style.

Bottle on the train to Norwich, 16/02/17. Pale golden with a decent off white head. Nose is biscuit, grains, light caramel, straw, pale malts, buttery notes. Taste comprises toasted grains, sweet underbelly, caramel, bready notes, light bitterness. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi drying close with light hop notes. Average fayre … too sweet and lacks the refreshment of a good lager.
