Tap at pre-GTMW Maduro. Unfiltered looking brown body, oily thin head. Mild aroma, in some ways the malt and barrel caramel cancel each other out. Kind of an odd beer, a nice mellow bourbon ale in a way too. Chalky tobacco and bourbon sugariness, not really so much booze as much as an almost birchy, woody flavor. Really adds massive complexity. A touch overbearing, but quite a treat.
