Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Tap at the brewery. Aroma intensely malty, coffee, caramel, plums. Alcohol lightly poking out. Clear dark brown colour. Stable creamy beige head. Taste has the same balanced amount of coffee, caramel and prune. Light notes of herbal, grassy hops. Body is full, carbonation moderate to light high. Moderate presence of alcohol. Moderately warm malty finish. Quite good, robust example.
