Drippin' On The Cheap DIPA drinks like absolute silk!! Smooth, Mosaic’s berries & dankness stealing the show upfront, with Citra’s stone fruit and candied clementine to balance it all out.

Pint can from Wine Cellar DePere, 10/17/20. Hazy orange, large white head. Aroma of dank, onion, grapefruit, pale malt. Taste is onion, grapefruit, resin, a bit of dank berry. Medium-full bodied, low bitterness, well balanced, not quite juicy. Solid.

Slightly hazy golden and peach coloured body, about 70 per cent opaque, with a nice two to three centimetre tall off-white and even tan coloured head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma of oranges, resin, honey, deep alcohol and something funky - raw onions? garlic salt? cardboard? Wierd. Medium to Full-bodied; Very deep and bittered hop notes dominate throughout the front with a light grassy, floral and strong resinous note that hits hard, but shows both a great balance and somehow soft-ish sweetness from fruits towards the end. Aftertaste is deep, robust, balanced, full-flavoured, polished and enjoyable across the board, with a nice sweetness, fruity flavours, resin and syrupy punches and a light floral and grassy hop bitterness - all with tons of malt. Overall, a very nicely constructed Imperial IPA that has nice flavours, a smooth complexity, proper balance, rich and sweet notes, all with a good hop bitterness. This one tastes every bit like 8,5 per cent alcohol, but that's okay, because that's what it is! Nice to sample fresh and recommended for those who like the style! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 18-September-2020 for US$4,76 sampled at my house here in Washington on 06-October-2020.

A little too sweet, but good brew.
