Brewed in the style of the original pilsner beers of Bohemia. A grist consisting solely of German pilsner malt is carefully decocted to produce a bright golden color and soft, nutty malt flavor. The wort is hopped frequently and exclusively with Czech Saaz hops, is fermented cool and slowly, and then lagered extensively. The final product is crisp and refreshing with a gentle noble hop nose and clean dry finish.

On tap at the South location. Pours straw. Fragrant, grain, lavender, apricot. Medium body. Fine.

Can from my father: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is grass, sugary malts. Taste is somewhat hoppy, malty, grainy. Solid, but not great.

Dock Street Bohemian Pils Gezapft in der Fetten Sau in Philadelphia Klares Gold, etwas Schaum. Aroma: Vanilie, Hopfen, etwas Nuss. Geschmack: Malzsüsse, Zitrus. Kaum Bitter
