Taster at the brewery. Dull orange color, with a small, white head. The nose is grapefruit, quinine, sugar cane, and mild grass. Sweet and juicy, with a mellow, drying bitterness. Medium body, sharp, and a bit hot. Bold, sharp, and tasty.

16 ounce can from brewery. Hazy orange gold pour. Large, frothy beige head. Floral citrus aroma is subdued. Light, zesty citrus flavor upfront. Notes of lemon, pineapple and melon. A bit of resiny pine on the backend. Pleasant.

Can from the source: pours gold with minor haze and white head. Aroma is pine with a heftier malty note than one would expect. Taste is a little bitter with a sweeter finish. A bit earthy perhaps. Body and taste seem a bit thin.
