The flavour and aroma of Citra, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe hops prevail without excessive bitterness for maximum drinkability. Malt sweetness of Pale Ale, Crystal Carafoam and Wheat Flakes in the background complements the hops for a crisp finish.

473ml can, canned 15/06/2016.

473ml can. Pours a hazy orange with a large, fluffy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet fruity aroma of mango, pineapple, orange, grapefruit and caramel with a biscuit malt backbone. Sweet flavour of pale malt, grapefruit, tangerine, orange, mango and pine resin with a crisp, hoppy, bitter grass finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Delicious.

0,473l can at home bought from Beer Republic. Canned 17.10.2016 (I assume it means canned). dark yellow clear color, medium big white head. smells of exotic fruits, mango, light caramel, pines, lemon grass, bit parfumy. very nice smell. full body, soft / pearly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of exotic fruits, grassy, lemon grass, bit citric, light caramel, some grapefruit, bit earthy. finishes lightly to medium bitter with notes of grassy, earth and lemon grass. quite nice one, held up quite good, age is only noticeable towards the finish (which looses a bit), and also its rather grassy / earthy (not so many exotic fruits left I assume). Overall still very nice.

Pours clear orange into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with medium retention receeds leaving spider lacing. Tropical fruit and resin aromas. Dry with sourdough and lemon joy upfront turning to grapefruit pith in the lasting finish.

Unclear, golden colored, medium white head. Aroma is of malt, caramel, some orange hard candy, citrus orange, pine moderate hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel, some orange hardcandy, orange, citrus and pine medium aroma and bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Signs of the Atlantic voyage visible as hops are not the freshest... (can, Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte)

Pint can into shaker. Super sweet caramel nose. Not getting any hops or fruit, just toffee. Cloudy golden/amber beer with solid white head. Laces well. Full-bodied, oily texture. A little light hoppiness underpins the cornflakes flavour. Interesting, complex. Much sweeter than I thought it would be but seems to get less so as you continue. Nice, certainly easy to drink.

Hazy, quite dull, just a thin head. Aroma lacks expressiveness. Biscuity, chewy and quite yeasty. Moderate bitterness but not much hop brightness. Starts sweetish for style but ends quite bitter. Given my connections to Hamilton I was really hoping for more.

Draught at Darby’s Gastown, Vancouver
Hazy golden color, small compact head. Zesty hops provide the character for this beer, supported by delicate crackery malts; the aroma is also lightly biscuity; the mouthfeel is moderately sweet, and the body is robust. Strong bitterness, for a result and zesty final.
Excellent.
