6/4/2018. Bottle from the brewery. Pours rich dark mahogany brown with a large foamy beige head. Aroma of heavy roasted malt, light vanilla, chocolate, coffee, lactose, nut and dark fruit. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, smooth silky texture, average carbonation. One of this brewers best.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Højbjerg Tasting ] - Saxo House, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Fuddy Duck Black Magic ].Clear dark red brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, ash, burnt, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, swwet malt, roasted, sugary - lacto - milk chocolate - sweet chocolate, dark malt, wood, light ash, earthy notes. 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Breadish. Bitter. dark malty. Roasted and bitter. Dark malty finish.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, caramel and hops. Light bitter and sweet finish.

Bottle, 4.5%. Very dark brown with big beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, lacto, little vanilla and caramel. Flavour is malt, caramel, dusty, little lacto, sweet, hop, chocolate and a little bitter.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Almost black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and lactose. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 181117
