Bottle from Global Beer Exchange, Makati City, Manila. Poured a very lively dark orange colour with a big off white head, lots of sediment settling to leave it cloudy. Aroma of hops, grain, yeast, banana and treacle. Light sweetness, initially very bitter, mellowing a little bit keeping a good dose of bitterness throughout. Very high carbonation level at start but settling to average after a few minutes. Thin body, texture is oily. Perhaps this bottle wasn’t at its best? Not a bad brew though.
