Ever so slightly hazy golden and tan coloured body with a ridiculously large, seven centimetre tall tan, microfoamed head. Aroma of very dry and herbal, floral notes with some jasmine and chamomile - both noticeable. Strong dry hay and grassy flavour at first with all the floral notes, showing a pungent alcohol and astringent note, but the complex yeast strain stays in front with a lot of depth from the malt and especially the dry, yeastie notes. Aftertaste shows a very faint dose of sweetness from some citrus fruits, but this really is all about the yeast, dry floral, hay and grassy notes and a hint of astringent and alcohol flavours, especially at the end. Overall, a very nice saison thorughout that focuses on the very dry, floral and spicey yeast notes in a great way, with a touch of noticeable alcohol as well as some astringency, but the light sweetness helps out a touch. Good to sample, and definitely worth trying if you can find it, and especially if you like the style! Can from somewhere: pours slightly hazy light orange with a white head. Aroma is mostly pretty spicy, some light fruitiness. Taste is light bitterness and a good bit of spice. Lightly sweet. Mild aftertaste.

16 ounce can. Hazy honey gold pour. Small bubbly white head. Zesty grainy malt nose. Notes of white pepper and slow funk. First sip yields a sweet and spicy paradox of flavors. Sweet lemon, honey, cardamom and vanilla. Mild peppery heat in middle. Lemon basil notes in finish. Quite refreshing and wonderfully crafted.
