12/5/2018. Bottle at the Ipswich bottle share, from the brewery. Pours black with a lasting beige head. Aroma of chocolate, berries, roasted malt, liquorice and dark fruits. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a hint of sour. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Dry, blackberry finish. One of the best from this brewer.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Højbjerg Tasting ] - Saxo House, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Fuddy Duck Dabbling Duck Porter ].Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, dusty, fruity malt, damp stain - fusty, light earthy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, damp stain - fusty, dark malt, dusty, light chocolate, licorice wood notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20171118] 6-4-7-3-14

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are milk chocolate, hops and roast malt.

Bottle, 4.5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and a little bread. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, little bread, liquorice, medium sweet, hop and a little bitter.

50 cL bottle. Pours pitch black, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malty. Breadish and roasted malty. Dry, roasted. Bitter and dark malty. Dark malty and bitter finish.

On tap at the Hop and Barley. Black colour with a light tan head. Aroma roasted fruity and light spice. Taste roasted bitter slight sweetness maybe honey. Nice and very drinkable.
