12/5/2018. Bottle at the Ipswich bottle share, from the brewery. Pours black with a lasting beige head. Aroma of chocolate, berries, roasted malt, liquorice and dark fruits. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness with a hint of sour. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation. Dry, blackberry finish. One of the best from this brewer.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Højbjerg Tasting ] - Saxo House, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Fuddy Duck Dabbling Duck Porter ].Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, dusty, fruity malt, damp stain - fusty, light earthy. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, damp stain - fusty, dark malt, dusty, light chocolate, licorice wood notes. Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are milk chocolate, hops and roast malt.

Bottle, 4.5%. Very dark brown with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and a little bread. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, little bread, liquorice, medium sweet, hop and a little bitter.

On tap at the Hop and Barley. Black colour with a light tan head. Aroma roasted fruity and light spice. Taste roasted bitter slight sweetness maybe honey. Nice and very drinkable.
