Bottle/Fest. A- Subtle coffee, earthy, pine, citrus. A- Gold color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Subtle coffee, earthy, bitter, mild citrus. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, boring finish. O- Okay, didn’t get much from coffee other than an earthiness. Otherwise tasted like another tried to hard IPA.

IPA bitterness mixes with coffee bitterness and leaves little room for any other hop fun. Not a bad beer, just very close to carbonated alcoholic coffee soda.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Red-amber color, clean, with compact head. Old style IPA, not sticky but based on caramel flavor, no discernible hop, and with a strong coffee presence; cheap coffee actually. Too bitter, chicory, in the final.
As in some other coffee beers, I don’t see the point, not I think these flavors mix well. Do you want coffee or do you want IPA? Because this one is not that good…

Hazy copper-brown. Not much head. Brighter, complex coffee aromas, though totally on the earthy, chocolatey direction. All coffee on the palate, maybe some caramel but no nuance at all. Hint of bitterness but you would know the base beer is IPA.
