On tap. Pours a mahogany color with little head. Aromas of fresh ground coffee, chickory, and a little mashed fruit. Flavors of acidic ground cofffe, a bit of toffee and pine and doughy malts. Heavy on the coffee

Bottle at a tasting. Lots of coffee but not the good kind. Reminds me of shitty paprika. Also spent coffee. I do no enjoy this.

Tap at Imazato. A deep reddish brown with a thin tan head and a peppery maltiness complemented by mellow coffee notes. The taste is coffee up front then sweet fruity hop notes. They play surprisingly nicely together.

And so it came to pass that six like minded people met on the 20th day of November in the year of 2016: those six people shared twenty five fine beers. This is one of those twenty five. Bomber. Orange hue to the misty amber pour, off-white head. Coffee and chocolate esters in the nose, taste has the same two main players and is sweeter than the aroma indicated: liked it.

Bottle @ Rich’s 7k tasting. Pours a hazy orangey amber, thin white head. Aroma has coffee and chocolate notes. Taste has good cocoa and coffee integration with a light caramel sweetness. Very good.

Draft pour pint at Yard House. Rating to celebrate the Bengals 21st TD of the year. Followed by another missed extra point. Of course. Pours a hazy and dense copper color with a thick cream foam head. Coffee bean dominating aroma. Flavor doesn’t blend to well for me. Hops and coffee combine for a green pepper like flavor that lingers. A ton of coffee, and quite bitter as a result. A hint of chocolate, and toasty malts. Interesting.
