Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter caramelic flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Dark ruby chestnut with a lasting off-white head. Malty aroma with toffee and dark sugar, along with spicy phenolic notes. Sweetish malty and spicy flavour with a well balanced finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, orangey brown with an off-white head. Nose has a little licorice but also old vegetable scraps or something. Medium body, subtle Belgian yeast, but also some unclean and unpleasant phenols or cabbage or something. Apparently it has Xmas spices but luckily they are fairly downplayed. Not a very pleasin Xmas Ale. 280420

Draft. A hazy red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of yeast, dried fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, fruit, and malt, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Højbjerg Tasting ] - Saxo House, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As Small Batch Christmas Ale ].Clear medium red amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, candy, moderate yeasty, sweet yeast, fruity yeast, spicy, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet yeast, fruity yeast, dried fruit, belgian yeast. Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, malt, licorice, hops and has a nice hoppy finish. Light smoky finish.

Bottle, 7.3%. Clear dark amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, yeast and spices. Flavour is malt, caramel, yeast, spices, sweet, dark fruit, plume and a little bitter.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy amber, small off white head. Aroma is roasted malty. Bitter, toasted and dense malty. Bitter, spiced and phenolic. Toasted malty. Subdued sweet malty finish.
