Tap at taproom Richmond. Pitch black colour, small beige head. Chocolate, vanilla, mud cake in the nose. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Coffee, chocolate and vanilla with toastyness. Kind of artifical vibe in its flavour combination. Tolerable.

Coffee and charred oak nose. Cola brown, thin tan head. Soil, cocoa, raisin. Espresso finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Expected more chocolate. Good beer though.

Keg at the RVA brewery. Dark brown, near black, red highlights. Aroma of roast, lactose, dark chocolate. Taste is sweet chocolate, lactose, vanilla, roast. Thin-medium bodied. Quite tasty.
