We have used Mount Hood & East Kent Goldings hops from Kent, with Sticklebract (NZ) hops for a fruitier hop profile than your average bitter.
Designed for the session drinker who still likes some distinctive hop character in their beer. Crisp, bitter, fruity and dry, all together
THE NAME
The traditional English bitter is named after a folk song called Byker Hill (and Walker Shore), that you can listen to a surprisingly wide range of versions of on Youtube. In fact, it would appear that everyone has had a bit of a crack at it although there don’t appear to be any Geordie versions (or are we not looking hard enough?)
