Pivní styl BLACK IPA využívá netradiční kombinace karamelových a tmavých sladů s voňavými aromatickými chmely. Pro tohle pivo jsme použili slad carafu speciál, čokoládovou pšenici a pražený ječmen, z chmelů pak kořenitý Columbus spolu s citrusovou Citrou a ovocnou Galaxy. Výsledné pivo je černé s nádechem praženosti, čokolády a kávy, přesto svěží s vyšší hořkostí.

0.33l can. Aroma of caramel, chocolate, roasted malt and mild fruity note. Pours almost black color with thick soapy light brown head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts light sweet but rich roasted malt with herbal note, following is ashy, leathery and earthy, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is dry and heavy bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Not as tropical as it could be, but then would lose its Czech character…

Tap at Salon piva. Med-thin body, med-high carbonation. Med-high bitterness, low sweetness. Feels too dry, a bit sharp and burning in the finish. Moderate grassy, dank and citrusy hops character, light roasted malts. Good, maybe a bit too much hops burn, but whatever.
