1dl sample @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto. Poured pitch black with a thin brown head. Roasted malts, chocolate, cocoa and light tobacco. Long finish of ash and chocolate. Full bodied. Tasty, well made IS.

Tap at Pikkulintu Puotila, Helsinki. Colour is dark brown with small brrownish head. Aromas and flavours: Some licorice, coffee, dark chocolate and roasted malts. OK.

Draught @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. Heavy, roasty and slightly sweetish with loads of licorice, coffee, cocoa, hints of fruits, chocolate and some toffee. Pretty smooth and balanced, tasty IS.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20200616) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and ash. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, coffee, liquorice and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A pleasant and balanced burnt brew.
