Hops: Cascade, Citra, Chinook (all USA) & Waimea (NZ). Taste: Waves of stone and citrus fruit dance a two-step on the tongue and then lead to a drying finish.
A golden, hoppy and fruity IPA with a high IBU (58).
This is a remastered version of our first ever beer, Fools Gold (brewed in the Summer of 2015). Re-designed this year (2017) by our new Head Brewer Richard Bazen, our new Fools Gold – Remastered has additional quantities of Citra and Waimea hops to create a more complex and lively flavour profile. Staggered dry hopping with Waimea pellets provides a fully rounded taste with strong tropical fruit and hop undertones.

500ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey golden to amber colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity hoppy aroma, hints of peach, nectarine with a minimally rotten touch. Taste is fruity and slightly bitter hoppy, hints of yellow stone fruit with a minimally rotten touch, cautious peppery spicy yeasty overtones; minimally papery finish.

[ As Brinkburn Street Fools Gold - Remastered ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, pale malt, fruity malt, light hoppy, UK yeast notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, pale malt, UK yeast. 500ml bottle from Ales by Mail shared at work with Joe. First impressions - over-carbonated, clear golden. Taste is too bitter, very little aroma hops coming through. Like an English Ipa from the old school. Greene King springs to mind. Disappointing.

Bottle @ Johns. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, little bread, little fruity hops. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, malt, grass, fruity hops. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet and light bitter finish. 181117
