Strong hop aromas combined with full-bodied malt aromas and fine bitterness. Brewed with Pilsner, Müncher, Cara-Hell and Menaloidin malts. Traditional and creative German varieties were combined as hops. Magnum as bitter hops and Monroe, Spalter Select and Saazer as aroma hops. The beer was fermented at 12 degrees Celsius with a bottom-fermented lager of yeast

# 3897; 10/2023. Alc. 6%, as Markgräfler Zvieri, labelled as Vollmundiges Amber (Märzen). Malty, fruity, dried fruits, spicy, stone fruit aroma. Murky red body; thick off-white head. Crispy, overcarbonated; malty, fruity, stone fruits, spicy, dried fruits, herbal. Very good amber lager affected by secondary fermentation in the bottle. 0,33 l, bottle, Getränkemarkt, stored out of the fridge in the shop, Denzlingen (Baden, Germany).

Markgräfler Zvieri, labeled with 6,0% Abv. Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head, malty spicy-roasty aroma. Starts mild, malty, soft-roasty notes, mild caramel, cocoa. Mild sweetness in the background. Finish with shy bitter notes. Nice!

Bottle labelled Zvieri, but described as Amber lager. Amber it is, with a mid sized head. Malty, low sweetness, hints of walnuts and some earthy hops with a pleasant bitter finish.

27.09.2019 - 0.33l bottle from hieber's in binzen, bb 31.12.2020. pours a hazy amber with a medium head. aroma of chocolate. flavour of chocolate, peaches. flavour of chocolate, grass. does not match the style, but not bad.
