Bottle from Johnny’s off-licence, Rome. Pours almost black with a large tan coloured bubbly head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, nut, dark fruit, caramel, molasses and light licorice. Medium sweetness and light roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, very fizzy carbonation. Not bad, but far too much carbonation.
