Roasted barley gives a faint coffee aroma and taste to this full bodied stout.

Cask at the 8th Chappel Winter Beer Festival. Pours dark brown with a lasting bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, nut, dark fruit and vanilla. Light sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Light body and slight oily texture, carbonation is soft to average. A decent dark ale more than a stout.
