HELLO GOURDGEOUS! It’s the beer everyone wants to BE and the beer everyone wants to be WITH! Beyond being a knockout, this pumpkin ale drops the jaw with subtle notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, candied yams, and a rich, warm pie crust finish. Gourdgeous Pumpkin is so beautiful it could launch a thousand ships!

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: rustic orange to brown color with a two and a half fingers of white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: pumpkin sweetness; pie crust - sweet to vanilla-y; with nutmeg and cinnamon down under
Flavor: balances the prior noted aromas together sweet and spicy; no aftertaste
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; smooth along the tongue; finishes semi-crisp running through the balance between the pumpkin and the spices
Overall: this brewer got this one correct! What a great balance of it all. Of course I would return to this one.

16 oz can, 9/29/24. The pour is a rusty caramel-orange color, with a foamy froth of tan head that leaves streaky / drippy lacework on the glass. Aroma is autumnal spice-forward, with nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice coming through over a somewhat sweet caramel / toffee malt base. There's a light earth / graininess to the finish, providing a touch of bitterness. Leans sweet overall, with the spice heavy aroma and early flavor fading into a more caramel malty beer from the mid-palate through the finish. Pretty good balance here. Smooth and drinkable. Sweet, but not cloying. Pretty solid stuff. 7/4/7/4/15

Draft at South Station. Pretty orange amber with foamy head. Nose is cinnamon and yams. Tastes of pumpkin, quite squashy, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg. All the fun stuff if it weren’t 80degrees outside.
