Gold with a frothy, white head. Subdued cardboard and caramel aroma with a hint of fruitiness. Taste is bitter, herbal, with a bit of resin. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, good chewiness. Pretty good except for the underwhelming aroma, which probably didn’t get any better with 5 months in the cellar.

Sample at the New Mexico WinterBrew 2022 festival, 1/22/22. Clear yellow large frothy white head. Aroma of melon, grapefruit, tangerine. Taste is melon, pine, grapefruit, pale malt. Juicy, moderate bitterness.

From a 12 oz. can. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Aromas of green onions and grass. Flavors are bitter pine and citrus with some lingering feint sweetness on the palate. If I was gluten free, this might be one of my go to beers. But I’m not.
