Heuveltjes bier van brouwerij de Heuvel is rond 1860 voor het eerst gebrouwen. 'helaas' is dit historische bier in de tijd verloren gegaan dus hebben wij onze eigen twist eraan gegeven. Het resultaat is een amber tot rode ale met grapefruit.

De grapefruit samen met citra hop zorgt voor fruitige en bittere smaaktonen die optimaal op elkaar zijn afgestemd. met 6.5% alcohol en toevoeging van koriander krijgt dit bier zijn kenmerkende smaak. een bier voor het hele jaar.

Bottle at home, reddish amber beer, small head. Aroma is caramel, malt, fruit, citrus. Taste is the same. Nice one.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is malty and a bit hoppy with notes of ripe-ish orange, some grapefruit, caramel, ripe/stewed fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium bitter and moderate sweet. Medium body. Doesn't completely come together, but kinda enjoyable.

33 cl. bottle @ the appartment in Kalenberg, bought @ Slijterij Bij Bert, Steenwijk. Dutch brewery #520. Hazy dark orange with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with some caramel and red fruit. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. Not really that balanced but still interesting.
