From backlog. Draught @ HBF 2017 (as Kullero Naistensahti). Pours dark reddish with a massive foamy head. Aroma of berries, banana, yeast and bready notes. Taste has loads of berry juice, banana notes, bready yeastiness, stuffy notes and sweetness. Finish is sweet, malty and boozy with some berry notes, banana, loads of yeastiness. A weird mix of a berry juice and sahti.

Hbf 2017 as Naisten marjasahti. Not the same sahti I guess? Poured murky brown color with a thick off white head. What? Sour bread, berries, porridge in aroma. Porridge, red berries, mild sourness. Not for me.

(Draught at St. Urho’s Pub Sahti Days ’10) Poured brown and cloudy. Head formation was very minimal. Aroma contained juniper, malts and banana. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, juniper, lightly banana, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was quite sweet.

Wooden, open container. This was the most mindblowing experience on HBF, I immedeately fell in love with this one. Brownish colour, beige huge head. Strong aroma of bananas. Sweet banana creamy flavour with hints of weak hints of smoke. A bit bitterish finish. Absolutely fantastic beer!

Draught @HBF2005
Hazy, very dark brown, creamy brown head. Sweetish, sugary nose. Hints of juniper (though juniper is not used in this "ancient beer" like they call it). Dry, sugary and woody. Dry wood taste also in the finish. Hides alcohol completely.

Sampled draught at Helsinki Beer Festival.
Extremely muddy pale orange appearance. So muddy you doubt that you can get it out of the glass even with a spoon. Very smokey, heavy on juniper and bacon. Very soft, sweet and well rounded. Big banana flavour. Stable maltiness, still very drinkable with a lingering smokey juniper finish. This delicious weird creation must be the missing link between Gotlandsdricke and Sahti.
