33cl Bottle from Uiltje Taproom. Black colour, beige head. Aroma is sweet, booze, roasted malt, hint of ink, molasses, brown sugar, some juniper. Flavour is sweet, thick, roasted malt, some molasses, brown sugar, booze, hint of oak, vanilla, bittersweet finish, hint of juniper. Full bodied, smooth.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie1986. Het is een donker bruin bier met een beige schuimkraag. Het heeft een lekkere zoete geur. De smaak is gebrand, koffie, chocolade met een zoete ahorn smaak.

Pours black, rather small tanned head. Smell is intense, roasty, tad maple. Taste is maple ( not overly intense, but noticable) thick body, roasted malts,.... All very balanced, yet intense. Lovely beer !

Thanks! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Beerlovers Bar. Black mocha head. Holly molly this is sweet like drinking mocha ice-cream, chocolate syrup with maple syrup in the back, weird thick lactose, ice-cream, chocolate sweetness, chocolate mousse, Starbucks hipster coffee drink, chocolate, juniper & cranberries are non-existing. Bit much really DBBA really evened out this sucker, this is overkill, granted tasty overkill but bit of a shock this one.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma has maple, chocolate, caramel fudge, oak and mocha. Taste has bittersweet maple, caramel, chocolate, oak, mocha coffee, booze and quite a heavy artificial bitterness. I like the maple, but it overpowers the juniper too much and the bitterness is a bit too much. Uiltje needs to up its stout game, like before.

Pitch black pour with a tan head. Notes of roasted malts, dark cherries, oak, berries, coffee, very little barrel. Dark, roasty, a bit too harsh.
